As you know, I believe that the Creation Message is the most powerful apologetic for changing lives. I have also become convinced that humor is one of the most powerful modes of communication. When you make people laugh, it drops their defenses. Further, when you touch people’s emotions during a presentation, the rate of retention goes way up!
About 15 years ago, I had the idea of combining the creation message with a comedy routine. At the time, I put together a 12 minute comedy routine, and actually opened for a well-know comedian at the fairgrounds in Roseburg Oregon. The Christian audience seemed to love the fusing of comedy to a creation message.
Then life got busy, and I just never got back to it. Then last year, God prompted me to dust-off my presentation, and expand it out to 50 minutes! My goal is to do the presentation at as many venues as possible as I hone my skills, with the bigger goal of reaching younger people & families with the creation message in a format that is new and effective.
